Liberty's Ackley Sweeps Final Women's #ASUNXC Weekly Awards of 2019

ATLANTA, Ga. - Liberty's Adelyn Ackley was named both the ASUN Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week and Freshman of the Week, announced Wednesday by the league office. This marks the fourth time this season that Ackley has earned both awards.

- Fourth Career Runner of the Week honor; fourth this season for Liberty
- Finished 15th overall during Saturday's Pre-National Invitational including first among ASUN runners
- Crossed the line at a personal-best 6K time of 20:33.3; second among all freshmen in the race
- Her time ranks No. 3 in program history and was the fastest a Flame had ever run in Terre Haute
- Beat top runners from No. 13 Boise State, No. 22 Virginia Tech and No. 27 Boston College
