First-Place Finish for Liberty's Ackley Leads to Back-to-Back #ASUNXC Weekly Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. - Liberty's Adelyn Ackley was named both the ASUN Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week and Freshman of the Week for the second-straight week after winning the FGCU Invitational, announced today by the league office.

- Second Career Runner of the Week & Freshman of the Week award; second-straight honors
- First back-to-back Runner of the Week since 2017 (Lipscomb's Courtney Brenner)
- Won her second-consecutive race to begin her collegiate career
- Posted a 5K time of 17:42.27 to win the FGCU Invitational individual title by 57 seconds.
- Led a 1-2-3-4 Flames sweep resulting in Liberty's team championship.
