Liberty's Ackley Sweeps First Women's #ASUNXC Weekly Awards of 2019

ATLANTA, Ga. - A dominant performance from Liberty's Adelyn Ackley earned her both the ASUN Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week and Freshman of the Week accolades it was announced Wednesday by the league office.

- Her 4K time of 14:08 won the women's race by 1:08
- The 39-member racing field included opponents from Virginia, VMI and Lynchburg
- First Liberty freshman to win her collegiate cross country debut race since Ednah Kurgat in 2015
- The Flames next compete in the FGCU Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7th
