ATLANTA, Ga. - Liberty's Noel Palmer earned her second ASUN Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week in the past three weeks after she torched the course at the Queen City Invitational, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Claiming her first career collegiate victory, Palmer defeated a field of 262 runners in the 5K race to become the first Liberty runner in three seasons to earn an individual meet title. Her time of 17:09 set a new program record and is the fastest in the ASUN this season as she bested the field by 16 seconds.
