  • ASUN Beam Video Series: North Alabama's Emma Knight

    ATLANTA, Ga. - Emma Knight recently completed her junior year at North Alabama as she holds a 3.95 GPA in Chemistry with plans of going to Dental School. A member of the North Alabama chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Knight represents the top 7.5 percent of her class as the Lions Cross Country student-athlete was one of seven league students who were named to the ASUN All-Academic Team this year.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - Senior Cross Country and Track & Field student-athlete Audrey Carpenter is a triple major in Communications, Political Science and Spanish while holding down a 3.79 GPA. She has earned distinction on the ASUN Academic Honor Roll for the last two years as well as garnering ASUN All-Academic Honors twice in Cross Country (2017, 18) and selections to both the Indoor & Outdoor All-Academic Teams over the past year.

  • Brenner Leads Lipscomb Women to Seventh #ASUNXC Women's Title

    BRONX, N.Y. - Lipscomb junior Courtney Brenner led the Bisons to their seventh ASUN Women's Cross Country Championship in program history and first since 2016 as the Bisons recorded five of the top-nine times in the conference meet. Brenner bested the field by finishing with a time of 17:42.7, just in front of Liberty's Noel Palmer who finished with a time 17:46.1.

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Liberty enjoyed a most successful afternoon at Friday's Queen City Invite at McAlpine Creek Park. Senior All-American Azaria Kirwa won the men's 8K in 23:53 for his third consecutive victory to begin the 2018 season, leading the Flames' 1-2-3-4 sweep of the individual standings. As a result, Liberty ran away with the men's team championship by 97 points (18-115) over runner-up Embry-Riddle in a field of 30 squads.

The Bisons' Courtney Brenner landed the title of the ASUN Preseason Women's Runner of the Year after earning three conference weekly awards last season.
