Jacksonville's Reinert Wins #ASUNXC Women's Honor in Collegiate Debut

LakePoint, Ga. - For the 10th time in program history, Jacksonville earned the ASUN Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week accolade as Jana Reinert collected the award in her collegiate debut, announced Wednesday by the league office.

Taking the 5K course at the Florida State Invitational, Reinert collected third place with a time of 17:58.0, which ranks as the 11th-fastest time in program history. The Waldron, Germany native finished the race 12.8 seconds behind the individual champion from FSU, Militsa Mircheva. Reinert helped the Dolphins earn second place at the meet trailing only the Seminoles, who rank third in the South Region.
