No. 2 UNF Blanks No. 3 Lipscomb to Return to #ASUNWTEN Final

For the fourth-straight year, North Florida finds itself in the ASUN Women's Tennis Championship Final. The No. 2 seeded Ospreys blanked No. 3 Lipscomb 4-0 on Satuday night. North Florida faces No. 4 Stetson in the title game on Sunday at 11 AM ET which can be viewed on ESPN+. 

The Ospreys' dominant performance began in doubles action as they got an early 1-0 lead over the Bisons. At the No. 1 spot, Luise Intert/Rafaela Gomez swept Denise Buberl/Viktoriya Dzyuba 6-0 and then shortly after duo Florencia Rossi/Valentina Mariotto clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 victory.  

North Florida got out in front of Lipscomb on Court #6 as Florencia Rossi beat Kateryna Kandyba in straight sets 6-1, 6-1. Then the Ospreys jumped out to a 3-0 lead when Mariotto took down Lipscomb's Thabile Tshatedi 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 5 spot. To clinch the match, Lucia Montano defeated Madeleine Brooks at No. 3 sending the Ospreys back to the title game for the fourth consecutive year.
