2017 #ASUNWSOC Season Preview: USC Upstate Spartans

LakePoint, Ga. - With the 2017 ASUN Women's Soccer season around the corner, we scope out our eight conference squads in preparation for the 25th season of ASUN Women's Soccer beginning August 18.

USC Upstate Head Coach, Tyson John enters his second year with the Spartans after being named the fourth head coach in program history July 18, 2016. 

Upstate returns 11 key players and welcomes 13 newcomers to its roster. Among the returning players, starting midfielder, Autumn Gore was the leading scorer for the Spartans last season with two goals and four points. Junior, Kate Winegarner joins the list of returning players, leading the Spartans in career statistics. Upstate also welcomes back goalie, Brooke Bailey who had a total of 116 saves last year.
