2018 ASUN Women's Lacrosse Schedule

LakePoint, Ga. - The 2018 ASUN Conference Women's Lacrosse league season wraps up this weekend with a trio of conference matchups. Jacksonville can clinch the ASUN Regular Season Title outright with a victory over Stetson on Sunday. Coastal Carolina looks to lock up the second seed in the upcoming ASUN Championship when they take on Old Dominion on Saturday afternoon in Norfolk. Kennesaw State looks to secure their seeding when they travel up to our nation's capital to take on Howard.

Coastal Carolina (8-8; 3-1) - Follow @CoastalWLax
- Coastal Carolina looks to clinch the No. 2 seed in the ASUN Championship with a win over Old Dominion
- Haley Alexander ranks fourth in the ASUN in goals with 45, and third in points with 60
- Harley Barrett leads the ASUN in saves made with 148. She's also first in SV% at 48.4%
- The Chanticleers lead the ASUN in shooting percentage at 47.8%. They're also second in goals per game at 13.38
- Defensively, CCU ranks near the top of the ASUN allowing just 10.38 goals per game

- The Bison snapped a 42-game losing streak that dated back to 2014 on March 8th when they took down University of D.C.
- Howard now looks to secure its first-ever ASUN victory when they host Kennesaw State this weekend
- Midfielder, Natia Warren, is fifth in the ASUN in goals with 38 and ranks 20th nationally in goals per game at 3.45 per game
- Warren also leads the team in draw controls with 48, which ranks sixth in the ASUN
- Goalie, Amerra Sheckles, is third in the league in saves and SV% with 139 and 39.2%

- The Dolphins clinched at least of share of their sixth straight ASUN title; they can win it outright with a win on Sunday
- Jacksonville holds the only winning record in the ASUN this season with a mark of 14-3
- Senior midfielder Ashtyn Hiron leads the ASUN in points this season with 69 (52 goals, 17 assists); her 69 points ranks 24th nationally
- Freshman Sarah Elms, reigning ASUN Player of the Week, tallied 15 points last week (12 goals, 3 assists)
- JU leads the ASUN in goals (288), assists (152), goals per game (18.00), draw controls (252), caused turnovers (186) & GAA (9.46)

- KSU clinched a spot in their fourth ASUN Championship with a win over Stetson last week
- The Owls can clinch the three seed with a win and a Old Dominion loss
- Freshman Siena Gore leads the ASUN in goals with 65 goals, which also ranks sixth nationally
- Gore is also first in draw controls (109) and third in caused turnovers (22)
- The Owls look to improve to 6-0 all-time against Howard this weekend

- Old Dominion clinched a spot in the ASUN Championship last weekend 
- ODU has four different players with 25+ points; Glory Johnson (40), Sophia Richie (33), Brooke Stein (27), Cydney Tutchton (27)
- Johnson has tallied 17 of her 40 goals over her last five games played
- The Monarchs rank second in the ASUN in caused turnovers with 148 and third in goals allowed with 200
- ODU looks to remain undefeated against Coastal Carolina, as they hold a 1-0 all-time record

- Stetson looks to finish off their season with their first-ever win over Jacksonville 
- Hallie Merz recently became Stetson's all-time leader in points, as she stands with 166, breaking Lindsay Summers previous mark of 154
- Taylor Patrizi is tied for the team lead in goals with 32; Karli McGuire also has 32
- Riley Reagan ranks second on the team in points with 50 (17 goals, 33 assists); Merz ranks first with 51
- The Hatters are one of the better offensive teams in the ASUN, as they rank second in assists (102) and third in goals (211)
