LakePoint, Ga. - Jasmyn Brown, Brittney Chambers, Keonna Farmer and Kamiyah Street collected this week's ASUN Women's Basketball Weekly awards, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Brown and Chambers were named Players of the Week, while Farmer and Street took home Newcomer and Freshman of the Week respectively.

Jacksonville's Brown takes home her first ever ASUN Player of the Week honor. The junior guard averaged 17.7 points for the Dolphins last week and shot over 61% from the field. Brown notched a career-high 29 points against Troy last Friday, and drained a deep three-pointer in the final seconds to put the Dolphins in front. She followed up that performance with 14 points and more heroics, as she sank the game-winning bucket with three seconds left on the road at South Alabama. Brown is seventh in the ASUN in scoring, averaging 13.3 PPG.

Chambers finds herself another ASUN Player of the Week award for the second time in three weeks. The Hatters' senior was mightily consistent in a perfect 3-0 week. Chambers collected double-figures in each game, including a career-high 27 points in a win against North Kentucky last Wednesday. On Sunday, she picked up her second double-double of the season, pouring in 15 points and 12 rebounds in a road win against SIU-Edwardsville. Chambers leads the ASUN in scoring, averaging 18 a game.

Senior transfer, Keonna Farmer takes home her third ASUN Newcomer of the Week award; her second in a row. Farmer had a huge week averaging a double-double over two games of 22 PPG and 12.5 RPG. Farmer also chipped in with six assists and six steals. She posted a career-high 25 points and 10 rebounds in an overtime win over Bethune-Cookman, following that effort up with 19 points and a season-high 15 boards in a loss to Florida Atlantic. Farmer ranks fourth in in the ASUN in PPG (14.5) and RPG (7.9)

After being nominated the past couple of weeks, Kamiyah Street takes home ASUN Freshman of the Week honors. The freshman guard averaged 18 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 2.3 SPG and 2.0 APG. Street led the Owls to a win over in-state foe Georgia State last Thursday, scoring 26 points on 9-19 shooting. She was also a perfect 7-7 from the charity stripe. On Saturday she set a career-high of eight rebounds, while scoring 17 points in a victory over Middle Georgia. Street continues to be one of the best freshman in the ASUN, leading all ASUN freshmen in scoring, minutes, field goals, free-throws and steals.
