HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Justin Watson and Peyton Ewoldt finished first and second individually to lead the University of North Alabama men's cross country team to a second place finish at the 2018 UAH Chargers Cross Country Invitational the Sharon Johnston Park.
Watson, a Rogersville, Ala., native, got his second individual career win to go with a first place finish on the same date a year ago at the Stan Sims Invitational in Kennesaw, Ga. Watson turned in a time of 26:33 on the 8k course, followed closely by Ewoldt at 26:35.
Alabama-Huntsville had the teop team score at 27, followed by UNA at 69, Austin Peay (101), Evansville (104), Morehouse (114), Wallace State (117), Tuskegee (218), Lawson State (238) and Miles (279).
